Start at the outer edges of the dent and as those outer edges get straight keep moving towards the center, but always working the outer edge.

My uncle was driving home from work with his windows down one day and hit one and sucked it into the cab, thru his passenger window. Chaos ensued, lol

Replaced the very flimsy tailgate cap with the Relentless Fab reinforcement. Very glad I did. The movement I felt in the cap every time I handled the tailgate (which i do all the time) was wearing away the paint on the top of the tailgate. Great opportunity for corrosion to get a good start without being seen. I encourage anyone in the salt belt to get under there and take a look. SUPER easy to do.

The underside of my cap. You can see the deformed or missing tabs.

    upload_2020-7-27_11-45-50.jpg

top of the tailgate, you can see where the paint is worn away. (53K miles)

    upload_2020-7-27_11-46-56.jpg

new one piece cap and deck. Stands off the gate itself.

    upload_2020-7-27_11-47-54.jpg

    upload_2020-7-27_11-48-22.jpg

wraps around nicely. Feel SOLID when lifting/closing.
    upload_2020-7-27_11-49-44.jpg

Since it stands off, it still CLOSE to sealing with the gasket of the topper

    upload_2020-7-27_11-50-55.jpg

Shared this elsewhere already, but Relentless Fab's customer service was amazing, handled some website technical issues post-haste and I had this deck 5 business days after ordering it, halfway across the country. Can't think why you wouldn't.

It's Delrin Slim Shift Knob, unfortunately don't have a link as I purchased it from a local shop many years ago for another vehicle. Be aware that you will need an adapter as this knob was for a 12x1.25 threaded shifter. Tacoma thread for automatics is 8x1.25.

Is that the dual air compressor?
And on a related note - is the arb single compressor even worth it? Is it one of those “buy right, buy once” items

Needed to vent and figured this is the place to do it:

Noticed my recent alignment from Les Schwab was off (my first mistake) I got after installing my lift. Had some positive camber that looked goofy and was going to wear my near new tires down.

Went in, found out the passenger cam bolt was frozen on one side. fuck. I know this is an issue with tacos....then got another call, the cam is seized to the bushing so of course they suggest LCA. I get it, bushings alone are a PITA. But now it'll be $540 out the door, installed and realigned (that parts free).

Found the need to vent because it's against my better judgement to put a non-OEM on with a non-oem cam and to not do it myself, let alone have les schwab do it. But time is money, I've got a trip this Thursday, no parts or time to do this the way I would, and here I go on my hopefully not, but probable adventure in needing to redo this myself at a later date.

Keep me in your prayers dudes.

It’s a single. I’d rather have a double, but my wife bought it for me for Xmas, so...

But it works great. Airs up my 34s just fine. I’m not gonna run air tools on my truck, since i carry a bunch of tools and a badass cordless impact when I wheel. Bigger would be better, but for me it just means faster.

I’m grateful my wife is into this expensive ass hobby as much as I am. If I don’t have the extra couple minutes to air up in this vs the dual, perhaps I should reconsider spending 5 hours driving a couple miles down a random rocky dirt road for no reason?

Got my 32" light bar for behind the grille. Problem though it was suppose to be a hidden mount and i got sent the flush mount brackets. So gonna have to fab them up a little and get it installed before wed. Also DO NOT USE ToyotaProShop. this is the second time i have ordered something from them and had issues. and also Brackets came on Friday, wiring harness on Saturday and light bar today. All from different senders.

They are included but they shipped separately for me. Grille came from NJ and the Letters came from China. I don't think that this is the norm, might just have been out of stock locally when I placed my order.
