I watch those on aircraft at night to judge coming or going.

Unfortunately, no time on the water at night. Someday . . . I keep trying to expand my friend's paddling envelope. He's got a sit on top Hobie with the sweet pedal action. But, not much interest in night time fun (cold on the sit on) and is not thrilled about the possibility of rapids on a river float. It was funny that he enjoyed surfing some chop on the saltwater last year during the salmon run.

 

Now it makes sense but I'm still trying to figure out who goes first at the 4 way stop sign near my work. Been going through it for 25 years and it's always whoever has the begonias to go first seems like

4ways, stop signs in general, turn signals, high beams and / or fogs 24/7, and lane management is a fucking mess around here. Folks could use some harsh (re)education.

Freaking ridiculous. There's a two way stop at the end of our cul de sac. It's the most dangerous part of any ride / drive.

I get you and know that. Usually, I'll be stopped and they won't even bother. Cops could make bank easier than messing with folks going a few over the speed limit and do some good on the part of safety.

 

I won't do the video justice and I'm not searching for it but we watched one of those dash cam compilation videos recently and this guy is on a roundabout and has this guy fly though his yield almost hitting him so the guy honks at the offending driver. Then the guy who got honked at decides to stop in the roundabout and get out of his truck to come over and be all wtf? He genuinely thought that because he was on the "right" that he had the right of way to blow into the roundabout.

It's round.
There is no right.
And even if there was he almost rammed into someone.

 

They've started putting round-a-bouts in around here. I saw an elderly lady put her left signal on and turn left to get to the left side instead of going around it. I was blowing the horn and yelling at her, thank goodness nothing was coming the opposite way and she made it through ok.
