Ok, so it probably actually is accurate. Have you grabbed another thermometer and put it by the sensor? I used to think this using my phone whether app and comparing it to the truck but you just can't do that. I have a digital temp gauge that's under my raised deck and it's always a couple degrees cooler than the local reading of the app at a nearby weather sensor station. And here's the BIG one... if you start in a garage, it's got a different temp than your driveway, and whether you are on concrete or blacktop driveway/road you will STILL see a hike in temperature that even on concrete will be a 4-5 degrees in the first few feet and less as you go up - it's insanely higher over blacktop and mostly cloudy days only matter by a couple of degrees because the sun's UV (and probably other types of) rays still cause a warming effect on man-made surfaces. And driving/wind/moving won't matter because only wind chill is affected by speed not actual temperature. So I wouldn't lose any sleep over it (which is the nice way to try to help instead of the a-holes making fun of you for asking - those types of guys... their wives probably cheat on them and they don't even know, LOL Joking! Not really, their wives probably do)

I was an idiot 5 years ago. Temp gauge seems good!
