    Does anyone know what controls this rear fan which is in console of an 06 tacoma.

    That’s a new one to me.
    My AC doesn’t have a fan in the console.
    There may be a fan on the power inverter, but that’s under the console?

    Ya that could be as there are no heater/AC lines to it. here is a pic

    That’s the power inverter, it powers the rear outlet in the bed of the truck.
    I haven’t used mine in years. It’s not really useful for the stuff I need it for.

    I pretty much use battery powered tools now. (Milwaukee)
