So I went to swap my headlights with spares before I slowly start retrofitting and to get familiar with removing everything.

When I went back to put the grill surround bumper piece back on, the bottom right keeps popping out after a couple of seconds. Nothing seems to be broken. The left side goes in just fine. I've included a pic that hopefully shows what I'm talking about

Any ideas? Has anyone else experienced this?

My best guess would be the line of clips on the bottom of the surround isn’t completely clipped into the bumper. But I’ve been wrong before

Bottom lined up and in place first, then push the top tabs in place that the screws go through. Taken mine off more times than I can count

i had a similar issue elsewhere on my truck and used some double sided tape instead of tracking down whatever wasn't lined up correctly

I just messed with it some and I still can't for the life of me get the bottom right to "stick". It almost feels like it's not clipping wherever it should be around those two pieces that slide into the bumper. The left side pops in fine. I'll have to try again later tonight. The sun is saying no to me currently.
