so from everything i read from this post, it looks like if your rubbing the tires on the uca, the best option it to get a wheel with negative offset or at least zero offset, and some back spacing. does anyone have methods with a lift and aftermarket UCA's and suspension that can let me know what the specs are on their methods? my tires rub at about 80% turn and I know its messing up the tire.

That will likely change once you get a wheel with the proper offset/backspacing.

Where is the tire rubbing? Looks like there is plenty of room around the UCA so I'm guessing you are rubbing the cab mount, fender liner, and/or pinch weld.

I don't care what anyone else says, to fit a 285 without rubbing you need to cut. I'm willing to bet anyone that claims to not rub and hasn't done some cutting that I can get their tire to rub in 15 minutes or less of slow speed travel.

I don't think it is rubbing the cab mount since my tires are 285 70 and not 285 75, giving my tires less side wall. and I don't see anywhere on my cab where marks have been made. you can see the rub mark on the UCA in between the L and C of the total chaos sticker in the pic above. I think its just a matter of new wheels, just don't know the correct spec wheel to get to get rid of the rubbing. stock wheels have a +30 offset so I am wondering if method's zero offset will be enough.

3rd gen? If so, you should probably search the 3rd gen forum to confirm but for the 2nd gen a wheel with 4.5" backspace and zero offset will correct that (but you'll end up rubbing elsewhere).

Just remember with more backspacing you can begin rubbing on the fender liner and other parts as well. Just remember SoCal Taco's exact words "PROPER backspacing is your friend". Just as well hubcentric wheel spacers are an inexpensive way to give yourself the proper backspacing and I know you have heard bad things about them but I have had nothing but good experience with them. I got mine from Rough country for about $150 because I needed more backspacing but really love the look of the OR wheels

    Too few to list.
If you go with wheel spacers, make sure it's from a reputable company and not an e-Bay special. It would be the cheapest route to solve your issue. I believe 3/4" to 1" spacer will solve your issue.

Can you keep the same width as the stock tire?

I have 17" Method Double Standards with 0 Offset and -12 backspacing and 35x12.50 ko2s do not rub my Icon uca. This is without spacers.

But I currently run spidertrax spacers and jump the thing all the time. The fairytales about how unsafe they are amuse me. I've seen a set with the acorn lugs installed backwards, dude bought it from a toyota dealership like that and drove cross country with no vibes or wheels falling off. Imagine the same thing installed properly...

But I have also never heard of tires rubbing on the UCA when turning. That's right in the middle of the axis the wheel/hub/spindle pivots on - between ubj and lbj. Any pics of the parts touching or maybe the marks on the tire?

A197D2BB-3BBF-478A-8F1D-1CC48565C19E.jpg Here’s where my 285/75/16 duratracs rub the stock uca slightly when I’m wheeling. It’s been rubbing there infrequently for 3 years now.

I can’t get proper alignment without adjustable ucas so I will he installing some of those before the new tires go on.

I know I'm a bit late to the post, but do you have any pics of where your Duratracs rub your fenders? Or where you had to cut / trim?
What offset are your wheels? Or did you run spacers?
