What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Nice! Swapping the double cab thats a big job. I didn't cut into the body mounts on mine, I cut into the firewall just before the body mounts. All okay with no rubbing so far!

 

Sorry I don't. But Id think there should be plenty of options out there that have multiple camera inputs. Might just be camera inputs though not reverse specific.

I just did all that frame repair and couldn’t get everything I wanted. Hoping to find a solid frame and swap in the next few years.

 

Not a bad way to go. This one is thin in places, but with enough time, I think it'll be ok.

 

Got it for 50 and had to buy cameras separately

Led's. The. Darker it gets, the more i cringe. They were off Amazon

These are what I have, they aren’t terrible. I can go get a picture if you want.

 

Any chance you are planning on tieing into the MAF temp sensor wires? I've been wanting to do this with my turbo setup. I don't have room for the MAF in the charge pipe but would like to get accurate temp reading for the ecu to see what's happening.

 

Got the front diff pattern dialed in and started getting the locker portion set up!

the shields definitely help. Send those back and get the Hikari ones. But you’ll still miss the Retro’s

 

i can imagine going from retro’s to anything else would be a huge step down.
