Thing is, my truck is a lease (2 more years left). So i don’t want to spend a ton of money to lift the truck. It’s a 2019 TRD Sport 4X4.

Can I get away with a 1-2” lift kit? Or wheels with a specific offset? Thanks in advance for any help.

Btw, anyone rockin these tires, let me know how you like them!

If you don’t plan on keeping the truck after the lease is up, don’t do anything

^ Word. You need at least 2.5 inches to run those the right way IMO. I have a 3 inch lift, no cutting or trimming, but still rub those same size wildpeaks at full lock when coming out of a driveway and stuff

I am getting 275/70/17 just to be safe and give more clear. My truck is lifted with 5100/887/ Set at 1st notch.

I have these on my sport. Probably not the best option if you're not planning on keeping the truck. You'll need a 2-3" lift plus UCA's. Then you'll probably still need to cut the plastic to keep them from rubbing

If you want to leave the truck stock for your lease deal, you have options

    pass on the tires

    Resell them if already bought

Mod the truck and reverse the mods before turn in

Mod the truck and take a beating on the turn in

Mod the truck, buy out and keep it

Could wind up being an expensive 'great deal'. Or a money maker.

    Choose carefully!

I’m not fully decided on what I’m going to do yet at the end of the lease but most likely I’m going to turn it in. The plan is to mod the truck and unmod later. I turn wrenches for a living so i can install and uninstall everything myself. I’d still like to get by as cheaply as i can tho.

So what I’ve gathered here so far is I’m definitely going to need a 3” lift and may still experience some rubbing at full steering lockout? Will wheel spacers help with this, or wheels with a specific offset?

Spacers make it worse. I don't think you need a lift *that* tall

Spacers are necessary depending on your wheel offset. Some offsets may cause rubbing on the UCA. However, spacers will cause more rubbing on the plastic
