Thanks - so it seems like it's adding at least a foot on average

I'd say 2 to be safe. It's a foot over my RTT which is ~a foot over my roofline

Finally got the front rail in today. Excited to take a properly secured bike to the trailhead

Yes. Much tighter angle, like 3 degrees. Crank brothers are 15 or 20 degrees depending on how you have the cleat set up

Question for all of you tubeless gents. How often do you refresh your sealant? And when you do refresh, do you just add sealant or do you remove the tire, wash it all out, and add in all new sealant?

my rear tire is not holding air, no holes and valve stem is tight. Thinking I need to remove the rear tire and do it over, or do you all think I should just add sealant to it?

I just add sealant when necessary and clean it out over the winter.

Anyone doing this? Side mounted on a rocky Mounts Loball. Has no wiggle it it at all. I set the rear tire on top of the bed and tie it with twist tie type tie downs. I kinda dig it. I have more room for the kids bikes and I don't have to remove the BakFlip.

Heres a terrible picture, but you get the idea.

    not enough.
I end up refreshing it once every month or two months. I haven't had much problem with it losing air so I just add in 1/2 of what's recommended just so I'm not putting too much in. I clean it out maybe once a year. Stan's cleans out nicely. Orange Seal does not.

Anyone running a 10-46 or 11-46t 11speed cassette? My cassette will need replacing soon along with the pulley wheels on the derailleur. So I’m thinking of moving up in size for the cassette. 10-42 is what I have now. Figured the 46 would be perfect. GX derailleur and shifter.

Does anyone subscribe to the Vital MTB Gear Club?

If so, do you find it worthwhile?

I never really understand those subscription boxes. You pay for stuff that you are not sure if you are gonna like or maybe already have?

Valid perspective. Guess the potential randomness of what could be included has me curious.

they often reveal the boxes contents beforehand, so you could know if you're gonna like it or not and opt out. at least some are that way.

it's also a good way to get some things to try and learn if you like them, at a discounted price since you're buying other items along side.

    I don't subscribe...but I've thought about it.

Only subscription box I ever did was actually BarkBox for my dogs haha

I'm not knocking it, and I've never tried them. Just never really understood it on paper.

Same, I kind of like the idea but I can blow money on stuff I know of haha. I’ve seen fishing boxes and those make more sense to me since you get random lures and what not that you wouldn’t normally buy.
