    Not sure if I’m a Fudd or just don’t shoot enough. I don’t have much desire to modify my pistols. Did a decent job with my ar and have some plans for building future rifles but nothing more than polished feed ramps and different grips for the handguns. Maybe one day some different sights on my 1911 but not building a race gun.

    I was like you till I shot some of Josh’s race guns it was addicting. I’m nowhere near as skilled on a pistol as a rifle so I want any advantage I can get.

    Threaded barrels are cool and functional.

    I usually stop there, but I fully built a competition gun out of an M&P 9mm:

    Stormlake threaded match barrel
    Trijicon HD sights
    Speed Shooter Specialities (SSS) tungsten guide rod
    11 pound flat wire recoil spring
    Apex D/CAEK with light trigger Spring and forward
    set sear with flat trigger​
    SSS aluminum magazine well
    Taran Tactical +5 mag extensions with +10% power
    Wolff magazine springs​
    LM Steel extended magazine release.

    Shot a few different race guns, just different priorities I guess. I have too many hobbies that I half ass, I need to refine to a few that are the most fulfilling and stick with those. Got in to r/c cars, trucks, motorcycles, dirt bikes, guns, knife making, flatland bmx, go carts, dog training, and a bunch of other random stuff. If I could get down to three or four, I would probably finish a project or two. :anonymous:

    I narrowed mine to guns. Barely to anything with the truck, besides camping. Rarely take the motorcycle out with all the psychos out there.

    The problem with the bikes is I enjoy building them more than riding. End up with bikes worth more than what I could sell them for.
