    The speed restrictions are only electronic inhibits to switching in or out of 4HI. There is not a speed restriction on actual operation once you are in 4HI.

    Here's a trick to get into 4lo on the manual trans:

    Use the clutch cancel start switch before selecting four low.

    The suggested speed restriction is just into 4HI. Shift from 4HI to 2HI can be done at any speed.

    Simplest trick is shift to 4LO, trans in N, clutch out, clutch in, shift to 1st. Repeat if needed.
