So we're lead to believe they're going to sell for over MSRP on used cars to make money after reconditioning? I'm not buying it. Sales tactic.

Oh I agree. 100%. It was just an interesting ad while scrolling through. Intersting part is I don't live near Natchez (about 3-4 hr drive away).

It looks like the catch is the base price part. A TRD Sport might have been $30k+ but a base Tacoma is like $18k

Until they've reached 50 units, "oh I'm sorry you're #51" what do we got to do to put you in a new truck today?

    SCAM!

Good catch! Nearly any vehicle these days can be outfitted with thousands, if not tens of thousands of dollars of trim and tech upgrades. Another factor is ;I doubt many buy the complete base, so their risk in offering is very low, but of course they'd make so much on buying an OR with tech for base, they're still way up.

This we'll pay ya more for your used scheme is nothing new.

Hahah, 10c to 55c adjustments for mileage. So nowhere near MSRP unless you have 0 miles

    There’s the catch “mileage adjustment”...MSRP 39,743 less .55x 54,000 miles 29,700 your offer is $10,053. Lol

true it IS a sale tactic.................more so in favor of the Stealer !

i shopped for months every marque
thought i could find a cherry turn in ......used Tacoma

was told by EVERY.............not an exaggeration

to buy NEW the cheaper / Better deal

bought my ' SR ' 19 was given a good deal by Stealer

they make MORE $$$$$ from a greater % markup on used

Just got this one - it's a work in progress.....
Haha - UP TO 100 percent. Lol. Then, per the ad, they will subtract $0.10 to $0.55 per mile on the odometer.

I have a near perfect condition 2015 with only 38k miles. Original MSRP was $32,000. Subtract $0.55 per mile would leave me buyback of $11,100 — which is waaaaay below the actual trade in value. Sign me up!!

I never considered a shutdown of auto auctions. That would definitely explain the lack of used inventory.
