Any idea on who is doing the tuning for this kit? Is a tune included or is local tuning required?

I just saw the second page says "calibration included". I'll be interested to see who is doing the tuning and if new tuning options are going to open up.

So tell me, what does this do to the life expectancy of the drive train? I’m guessing anyone that does this only cares for short term performance over long term reliability. I have an old 2nd gen 2010. Twice I’ve had the opportunity to purchase a genuine OEM new in a box supercharger. I didn’t do it because I wanted to get as many trouble free miles as possible. Maybe if I bought a new vehicle every 3-5 years I wouldn’t care.

I think their marketing team was responsible for the Acura NSX too. It should be in showrooms by 2023.

Doubt it affects it much. FI can be good for engines and improve gas mileage too. If your womping it all the time then yes you can break something.

looks like urd and ovt will give better numbers. the ovt twin turbo is the kit to get imo. huge gains and costs less

Mate if its trouble free miles you want why would you even click on a "supercharger/TT kit" thread link to begin with? Have you never seen the Triangle? High Performance, reliability, cost. You can only have 2. This is an NA engine not designed for power, with a drivetrain not designed for power. Asking it to be reliable as stock is like asking a chicken to lay a solid gold egg. But for some, the reward outweighs the risk.

I don't really agree with any of that

You can have power and reliability

this is a strong block and other versions of it are boosted

The drivetrain is good to about 500hp and torque

Clutch and flywheel is good to about 350/400

One of the main benefits to the Magnuson kit is the ability to deal with Magnuson who has things like...a phone number.

Anyone know how much boost its running? Looks like they're using a 17.5% drivetrain loss so can expect around 274 rwtq and the stated 308 rwhp. Seems a little weak to me especially since the TVS is an efficient supercharger. Unless the boost is real low.
