Got a notice from Toyota Canada that my 2017 Tacoma had a recall for frame corrosion. It says if the frame does not show significant rust perforation then a corrosion resistant compound will be applied. I did not expect rust as I live in an area that rarely uses road salt. The dealership said it usually takes 3 days to apply the CRC.

However, when I took it in they called me a few hours later saying it was ready. They said the CRC had been applied by the factory but it did not have the plugs installed, so all they did was install the plugs.

Anyone else had this situation where the corrosion compound was on the vehicle but there were no plugs in the frame?
