    Hi everyone,

Sorry if this has been covered, but I've been searching for a few minutes and haven't found much information.

Has anyone painted their bezel to get rid of that chrome?
I got a truck cap installed recently, and the sale included a bottle of touch-up paint. In theory, it's enough to repaint the bezel, but I don't know what I'm doing at all as far as application.

Has anyone tried this successfully? Or am I better off just plasti-dipping the chrome bits?

    Thanks for your help!

I painted mine with plasti dip because im a cheap ass. Looks great.

I always had good experience with dip. Apply it right and it works great imo.

Just be careful with the clips when removing the bezel, i broke a couple but no big deal.

    Good luck!

Nice, that looks great! I found my color paint in spray form, it looks like it's ~$60 + shipping for the kit.
I think I'm going to go that route because I've also got a MOLLE rack coming soonish, and it would be cool to have the rack the same color as the truck.

I am going to have to do my homework though, I want to do the bezel and rear bumper at the same time. I'm thinking it needs to happen sooner rather than later though. I've had the truck a year and don't seem to be having any fading issues.

    Thanks for your help!
