I followed the instructions for a Type 3 switch and have no heater pad power. I checked the voltage at the seat connector and there's no positive, only ground, at both pins in every connector.

I moved back up to the switch and there's only ground coming from the switch (the blue, green and purple wires).

I want to think that the positive is at the relay and the switch creates the circuit to close the loops which is then dumped to the heater pads. True?

I'm hoping one of y'all experts out there have experienced this and have a solution or a suggestion to troubleshoot.

    Thanks in advance.

I'm about to do the same, curious where people put the switch, anyone without a blank on the center console panel find a good location? I'm thinking in front of the center console on the vertical wall?

I ended up putting the switch in the center console, just in front of the e-brake handle.

Any pics? Also, what type of switch did you get?
