    Question:
The roof molding on my roof came off in a freakin car wash... Lost gone. I am replacing it. But till then. If it were to rain, will water leak through the roof. From what I can tell I don’t really see holes. But I have seen it mention as a “roof drip molding” not sure if that’s the correct name or not. What’s involved in the molding? Do clips come with it. Anyway if anyone can respond it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thx taco brothas

It won't leak unless the tape covering the roof rack mounting holes has been punctured.

If I remember correctly, there are no clips. Just adhesive tape.

There are clips that it pushes into. At least on the front anyways.
Mine was loose once, I beat it back in and haven’t had an issue since.
I did have my windshield replaced 2x. I mentioned it to the guy doing the install.
He said he could use some adhesive and glue it down, if I wanted him to?
I don’t know if he did or not? But I use the car wash all the time.

Double cab or single/access? Only the double cabs have the holes for the roof rack and they have automotive tape covering the mounting holes. If it's still in place I wouldn't worry about it.

There is one clip at the front, and one at the rear that holds the moulding in place.
