    Thanks!

The Duratracs offroad and on snow/ice they are amazing. But are a little too noisy on road. Im not totally surprised due to the fact they are the most aggressive AT tire on the market, but I think Im going to go with something else next time. Maybe BFG or Wildpeaks.

I was really leaning towards them, but seems to be what most people say is there on the noisy side. I’m leaning towards the Wildpeaks for me this time, always ran General At2’s on my 2nd Gen and was very happy with them.

Was looking through your build. Were you able to accomplish your goal of no cutting and no rubbing?

No cutting and no rubbing so far. Only minor drilling for the slider install

The 265/75/R16 will fit on stock suspension with no cutting or rubbing. I run the exact same tires on my dirt limo with stock suspension.

I looked up the size a little later and realized that’s the same I’m running pretty much. 265/65/18

So I am waaaaayyy behind updating all the thing so here goes:

New Odyssey PC1500T Deep Cycle Battery. I will eventually be moving to a dual battery system, and will have 2 of these. There are kits to get them both to fit in the tray. Note: this battery is actually shorter and smaller than the OEM Battery so you will need a new bracket.

Dometic CFX40 Refrigerator - Got this from the overland expo west a few week ago but here is a link to buy online. Such an amazing upgrade from god damn ice coolers. Totally worth it if you go on extended trips.

Did all of this prior to my most recent adventure in the eastern sierras ca., and need every, single, thing. Best advice I can give you is to NOT go cheap on the things that matter most.

2 flats on the same trail. Had 1st one popped a bead on the side of a cliff, 2nd one after rolling over some sharp shale rocks.
Front Right - Blew a bead and sheered the side wall

2nd one - less dramatic, but did take 4 plugs to fix

Enjoying the perfect brew for the brew for the perfect view

The most amazing camping spot I have ever found. Definitely keeping this one to myself :) Didn't see a soul for almost 48hrs

Also, because I had the tire insurance from Discount Tire, I was able to trade in my old Duratracs and pick up the new Goodyear UltraTerrains. So far on the street, they are SO, SO, SO (thats 3) much more quieter and pleasant to ride on. Taking them to Big Bear this weekend for a photoshoot, looking forward to seeing them in the dirt/rocks.

Love it. Runs my fridge and everything else without a problem. I want to go dual battery, but honestly this single so far has met my needs. I carry a backup battery booster/AC power just in case, but have never had to use it

Also added Frontrunner Roof rack Slimline 2. Was a toss up between Frontrunner and Prinsu, but FR just have WAY to many add-ons. Added water, plano rifle case and wolf pack storage.

Tweaked the water hose with some added ball valves. Thought I would need a pump or something, but it turns out when between the tank being up high, and the added pressure when going up elevation, the tank has been pressurized on its own. Huge improvement on quality of life having 11 gallons of water.

Added a propane bottle and holder. Super secure on top, doesn't budge. Moved the plano case around. Still finalizing the roof.
