    Getting a city tax error message when using the website. Anyone else have this issue? Can I phone the order in? Do I have to use another vendor?

    Rock Auto isn't shipping to municipalities in Colorado that collect their own sales taxes. It happened about a year ago with the state laws changed to tax Internet sales.

    This is only the start of a nationwide campaign to do away with online sales. By excluding vendors that do not have a presence in a given city, then people like you and me will have to buy locally, meaning either higher prices or substandard quality... or both!

    Soon enough I won't be able to take advantage of out-of-state and out-of-city dealer prices and will have to pay full price at the local Toyota dealer or buy low-quality rebuilt items and products.
