I would be curious to see the map as well. Every class 6 road I know of locally is in the Delorme NH Gazateer. I also have a list of Class 6 roads I found on the interwebs awhile back that you can cross reference to Google or Gaia pretty easily.

I just started using Gaia and once I got into it a bit, realized it's worth the $40 or whatever for the full version. Prior to this, I'd used Locus Maps Pro, Wanderlost (beta, web only right now), and Backcountry Navigator Pro (all on Android and/or web), all of which promise similar functionality, but none were as easy to use as Gaia has been for me. One of the best features of Gaia IMO is the ability to layer maps on top of each other with different levels of transparency, let's you combine for example a USFS MVUM (Motor Vehicle Use Map), with a Private Property boundaries map, and look at the two of those layered on a Topo map. The web version doesn't have a limit to the number of layers that I've found (it gets way too cluttered before running out anyway) and the mobile version lets you view two at once. Track recording seems solid, routing is awesome (I'm using it to put together the VT route right now after trying to do it in the other tools and it is worlds better), waypoints are easy to use. So far, I haven't found anything I dislike about Gaia.

Delorme is OK for major class IV but a lot of the small one are missing. I'd say most.

So here's the thing. Class 6 roads are just listed as that. There's another category that a lot of towns use called "historic roads". Historic roads that you can travel are technically class VI roads, but might not be listed as such in the public areas that map developers use. They tend to fall through the cracks.

They are also some of the most fun roads. Haha.

If you have any questions I can work with you on it. I like it a lot.

Those fun roads can get expensive, I have turned around on the listed roads more than once. Had to go home and get the Jeep. My Taco has to make it home, the Jeep I can scratch out the VIN and pull the plates and walk home.

I mean these Tacoma are pretty tough.

The stock guy that came out with us for the midnight ride a couple weeks was kicking ass. Love night rides.

Don't get me wrong I have taken my taco to places it shouldn't go, but it is my daily driver so I sometimes err on the side of caution when flying solo. I just need to invest in armor. I would sell the Jeep and make the upgrades, but my better looking half thinks the Jeep is cute.

I got the premium for the layers I use. There are a ton that make for the best cross referencing.

That comes with with a ton of maps, or do you have to get them separate? From what I can tell, premium comes with better/more maps, at first read, I thought they were all non USA, but then I see hunting maps, which I’m assuming will be trail stuff.

Premium unlocks a ton of maps. You can go to the layers tab, find "more maps" and there's a ton. I rrlal like neotrek maps, the nat geo maps, and wilderness area maps
