Front bed rail tie down system for the 2016 + third generation Tacoma is a direct bolt on kit that doesn’t require adding the factory front rail like the full width version. This gives you plenty of slots for ratchet straps as well as added rigidity to the front section of the composite bed. Detents in the brackets are designed to work perfect as wheel chocks to keep dirt bike front tires from slipping. Includes slotted holes at the corners of the bed for lights or an antenna. Installs to the bed in minutes using the factory torx bolts on the front of the bed and 3/8" grade 8 bolts with T-slot nuts that fit inside the side rails. Only tools required for install are a T30 torx driver and 9/16" socket or wrench.
Built from CNC plasma cut and press brake formed 3/16" HRPO steel and ships bare steel ready for the coating of your choice.

    Kit includes:
    •Bed rail brackets left/right
    • T-Slot nuts
    • 3/8" grade 8 bolts and washers

I for one really like this design - offers a more inboard anchor point than the typical corner brackets, doesn't require the third rail up front, and it's a little less aggressive than the full-length version. Well done! (Just a happy customer, nothing more).

So if there's a tonneau cover that relocated the rails lower, it wouldn't have the side support?

    Thank you!

No you would need the side rails to be in the original location for these to work. I don’t believe these would work with most tonneau covers anyway.

Actually I am happy to report that they fit perfectly under the trifold Tonneau that my tacoma came with. Got them back from the powder coated and was able to take them out for the first time on Sunday. Super slick little system. Love them!

Nice! Glad you like them. Do they fit with the tonneau cover installed or just the tonneau hardware?

They don't interfere with the cover in anyway. Fits perfectly with them underneath.

Just ordered a set. Been wanting something like this to fit my roommates and my bike. It's been such a pain to strap them down.

What weight are these rated for? Will they keep a 300lb bike strapped in safely?
