Yeah funny thing is I've already tried that lol. I tried welding an allen socket into the stripped drain bolt, and the weld did not stick. I believe my drain bolt is aluminum.

Excellent! I think I might pick up this set before attempting this job actually. Those will certainly come in handy for me later on as well, I'm sure.

As much as I love Project Farm's videos those sets are for rounded nuts, and I'm battling a drain bolt with a very stripped, recessed allen opening.

Have some 1.5 in add a leafs and front struts/coils rear shocks off a 2020 off road with 50 miles on it to throw on this weekend!!

Should add another 1.5 in all around.

currently only rubs when backing up full turn on the little front bumper mud flaps I might pull off anyhow. Rides great.

Mounted a propane tank to the frontrunner rack. Mount cost more than the fire ring I bought.

These are for rounded nuts and bolts . The one I posted need to drill bolt and use the correct sized extractor. Works best with tight fit were ou tap tool into bolt you are extracting .
I also got craftman rounded bolt extractor . Depending on amount of room you got to work with it works good .

Installed the Rhino racks and kayak mounts I got for Father’s Day. Then loaded my FishCat 9. Also mounted the two DYI Solar Showers that I made at the start of vacation. Getting ready for several days of camping, fishing, and relaxing.000C8CF5-CE93-4E2D-8C1F-9741C5D43C9F.jpg

That looks great! Really would like to get a shell and setup similar to this someday for the same purpose.

With the Leer Canopy, a drawer bed system, and our Napier Sportz tent, it makes for a comfortable place to sleep and still allows me to drive to the lake and/or secure the important things...

Id be curious to see how they handle off-roading (not just gravel...) now that you trimmed them.

People say take them off for a reason. That crunch sound as you go over rocks gets old quick.

Used the rest of the mat around the trans tunnel and floor mats since I felt those areas needed the most attention. Then added carpet (I haven’t had carpet in over two years). I got aftermarket carpet which requires trimming to fit. They mold it so it fits the floor, but I had to cut out all the holes and whatnot. What a fucking PAIN. I wish I had gotten oem. Never have I cursed so much on a project.

anyways, once I went for a test drive my frustration melted away. Hell of a difference!!! And I’m not even done yet, still have doors and roof to do later on.

Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 295 70 R17’s. Essentially 34” tire. It ha 35’s when I bought the truck but opted for more turn radius due to some of the passes we travel.

I have an extra Toyota camera, you think I could use it in the front like you did?

I don't see why not, but you'll still need the Anytime Backup Camera components to connect everything together.

AAProductsInc Found them on Amazon. I love them because the adjustable end folds down all the way and makes a nice loading ramp. They also came as a four pack

More connectors/terminals came in from easterbeaver.
If you buy anything from them, use FEDEX shipping, parts came real quick this time.

I got a 4-pin connector (two pins will be for the CB and the other two will be for maybe something in the future).
I also got two different sizes of terminal, looking through them now.
