Alright everyone, I need some fresh ideas I've been chasing this rattle down for a while.

There is a metal rattle coming from the right rear. Confirmed by riding in back of truck. It happens when going over bumps, or a steady click when turning left only. The rattle still occurs while riding the brakes.

I have fixed the loose bed bolt, removed all spare tire related parts, replaced leaf springs (were sagging anyway), check the exhaust and removed all items from truck bed including the storage slots. Not really sure what else to look for.

Have you checked the splash guards in the rear tire wells yet? they tend to rattle a little not sure if it's the sound your getting or not

Yeah! I gave them a good tug and used a rubber mallet around there and nothing. I jumped up and down in the bed for a while and couldn't replicate it either

Only occurs while riding the brakes...maybe an ill adjusted e-brake shoe?

Nevermind, got my Monday eyes on.

Only rattle mine had was a fastener on the rear bumper that help the plastic bumper step plate on. On the back side of the bumper it was slightly loose and would clank around occasionally.

Hmmm... it could be the parking brake I suppose. Or just something generally rattling around in the brake drum, but does not impact performance at all. I will check out the bumper later.

Might just be turning up the music with this rattle! Ha

Possibly just needs adjusted, some good threads on here about it. Could possibly explain the rattle too.

Also possible someone was in there for brake work and screwed up something, so find a diagram of the setup to compare yours to, it you're diving into them to check it out.
