Guys I’ve searched here and this warning seems to be generally tied to the addition of a tune or replacement of certain electronic parts. My truck has no tune or additional electrical parts. I was leaving the donut shop today (insert gratuitous cops and donuts joke here) and I believe that I was on the brakes when I inadvertently engaged the radar cruise and this message came up. It went off about 10 seconds later and all seems fine. I tried the cruise and it operated as it should. Does the TW brain trust think that I might have caused this by engaging the cruise while braking?
Have a great weekend folks, stay safe!

Perhaps the ecu thought you were holding the brake and gas at the same time or something similar, and that triggered the alert. If it went away in 10 seconds I think you’re ok. The “see dealer” notices that don’t go away need to be brought in.

I'm pretty sure mine does this too when I have cruise control set and I test my trailer brakes. It does not like it

I actually thought about trying it but then thought better of it!
I was just out on another errand and all seems fine.
