I grew up with Victorinox Swiss Army knives before multi-tools became popular, so I have a soft spot for Victorinox. I just recently got this carver knife. Time to get a roast on the smoker to try it out.

Picked up a Spyderco paramilitary 2 today at Smokey mountain knife works. Go to check out and they hand me a tenacious with it for free. Never owned anything other than kershaws but after losing both my blur and leek I really liked the look and sharpness of the Spyderco. Glad I did.

I got out and made my DEK my own today. Sliced, shaved, batoned, bored and stabbed with this knife to get a feel for it. The burlap is absolutely gorgeous. I'd have to say that it even gives the antique micarta a run for its money for me. I put the first blemishes on this knife, and it felt good to do so! Carothers has a magnificent knife here IMO.

This made me think about the other day when I ordered my carving knife; I read through the reviews. One guy gave the knife 1 out of 5 stars "The knife is too sharp and is dangerous to have in my house. I returned it"

    Lol
One of my favorite broadheads for bow hunting comes with a band aid in the packaging and a reminder of how scary sharp they really are.
    Those guys get me!

    Um, a little bit haha
Nothing like I did with the havalon tho.

Picked up this beauty, thought it was interesting because it has two different blade steels in one blade.

This was my latest self inflicted injury haha. Healed up beautifully. I could watch my thumb extensor tendon sliding back and forth under the flap. That was worrisome.
