Wondering where you guys with cellular boosters are mounting your antennas. I've ran the magnet mounts for years and in the winter they suck, and the cord flapping around isn't ideal. Seen a few custom antenna brackets I'm thinking of trying. If there was a good way to mount the Wilson trucker antenna without being a hazard and fugly, I'd do that. Leaning towards the hood mount antenna with nmo style antenna, or rigging up something behind the cab, mounted on the bed rail. Just wondering what you guys have come up with.

I’ve seen a few use a ditch light bracket and mount off there like you would a CB or ham antenna

Got the hardwire adapter for power linked to the spod; antenna cable routed through passenger firewall to the amp mounted under the passenger seat; inside antenna mounted to expedition essentials 3tpam with cable down through the dash; trucker antenna is mounted to cali raised bracket attached to CBI ditch light bracket

I just did the 'Ditch Light' bracket but for my Midland MXT275 GMRS antenna. I use the WeBoost Drive Reach antenna on the roof and it requires a 6-8 inch ground plane so went up the windshield channel to the roof area. I have both the Midland and Weboost all under the passenger seat, hot wired it all to my sPOD.

Question for @Papa_Smurf - Does that larger antenna need a ground plane? I went with the on one side and I could go with the your antenna on the other.

Both my antennas up front are receive only so no ground plane is necessary, as far as I know. The OTR on the passenger side is for the cell booster and the 3' firestik on the driver side is for my scanner. I'll be running a 4' firestik CB antenna off a bed rail mount; for that I got NGP antenna and associated NGP RF cable to avoid the ground plane issue at the cost of minor performance degradation.

I may follow your lead and use a collapsible antenna mount. I saw some of the Australian guys using these.
