XTP Intake Manifold Spacer 4.0L

Is this product still available? The website has an active link for buying but want to make sure I'll actually get it before sending money.
Also, are you supposed reuse the original manifold gasket along with the new gasket on the other side?
Does everything bolt back together properly after the spacer is installed?

So for those who installed this, what did you do for the 3 brackets that hold the surge tank on the driver side?

 

Used a dremel to further slot each one for the extra distance needed.

 

Ahh got ya, my spacer is 18mm so I had to make my own brackets because they were too short.

 

Oh yea I believe that was something a few people had mentioned with the longer ones. It's been a while since I had installed mine but I remember at least 1 of the brackets being very close to needing that.

 

I had to get some work done on my truck and forgot that the spacer did not have a re-usable gasket. It ended up getting removed for now. How would I get a new gasket and bolts/washers and what would be the cost?

 

Bolts and washer should be reusable and you can make the gasket from vanilla file folder

 

Not sure if they replaced the spacer bolts with stock ones though, and I know I can make a gasket, but if cost is not a big deal and I need bolts anyway (unless he wants to provide the bolt specs to me)....

BTW, I've used the file folder thing in the past in a pinch, but the longevity of those has never been good in my experience. But not relevant as I do have some good gasket material I can use.

Ok, you're not getting the situation. I had the spacer installed, had some work done and the spacer was removed. I'm not sure if they used the spacer bolts without the spacer, or if they replaced the bolts. So I will assume they were replaced with shorter as I don't want to open it up and find I don't have bolts.

I’ve had mine for a year now. Can definitely feel the low end torque. Especially going uphill, the transmission will hold OD a lot better and longer.
As far as MPG increase, not a whole lot. Maybe like .5MPG average MPG increase.

still worth it though, love the extra push feel when you step on it to pass a Colorado! Lol

 

They make gasket paper you can get from the parts store and make your own.

 

If anyone was wondering, he still makes them and still honors the discount. You do have to contact him via email on his website so he can activate the link, but he responds quickly. Got mine in today!

 

Installed, fits great no issues. Only thing to keep in mind is the intake manifold brackets need to be slotted to still fit. I had to notch both top and bottom holes with a Dremel and cut off wheel to be able to put them back on.

 

Ouch! That's messed up! I hit him up thru here and he did not honor it for me. I paid full price, like 2 weeks ago. Maybe you have better people skills

 

I messaged as well and was told to pay what the website lists it for. Still have yet to order it
