The beard is gone fellas :(. I just got sick of it and it had to go. I had a mustache for a solid week though, and that disappeared yesterday. Back to the scruffy look!

Just a very minor thread update here, as I haven't done much to the truck lately. But I did get a couple small project done this past weekend. I finally got around to repainting the inside of my grille surround black after color-matching the outside of it silver. I also built a DIY thru-axle bike fork mount for my road bike so I don't have to lay it on the floor of the bed when transporting it somewhere.

On top of all this and most excitingly, I finally found what was causing this weird popping/clunking noise anytime there was even the slightest bit of flex in the rear suspension. Turns out that two of the 6 Torx bed bolts were seized, but not fully tight. So once I broke them free and tightened them up, the popping noise has been eliminated finally!

So I did a thing and I installed some ditch lights! I also created a video documenting the process and I think it turned out decent! I wish I had better filming equipment, but I got what I got!

Nice vid bro! I wish you'd made it before I installed mine. I didn't think to brace the hood with towels and I cracked the windshield. Lol. Also I think I installed the brackets between the hood and mounting plate because beer made that make sense at the time. Haha

Haha shit, hopefully insurance covered that "rock" that cracked your windshield!

Okay! What exactly? How to wire up the included harness? I have an RTMR, so I actually modify all of my harnesses by cutting off half of it (switch wires, battery connections, fuses, and relays) and simply putting on some metri-pack 280 pins and connectors to plug directly into my RTMR/fuse block.

Wow. It's been over a year since I was on my own thread last! I lost my password for my personal account, so I am simply updating on the work account.

Some really exciting things are happening with the truck. Last night, I just put on some new Icon Alloys wheels and BFG KM3 tires. In addition, I bought the new Warn VR EVO 10-S winch, so will have to find some time to install that soon!

    Now picture time:

Here's some pics from a night run we did back in August out in Payson, AZ!

Installed my winch last night! Instead of doing the control pack relocate kit, I just removed the center brace that basically does nothing, and then cut off the lower grille centering bracket. It was was easier than relocating the pack. I filmed it all too, so I can do a video on our YT if anyone's interested

Are you still in Tucson, Az? I'm looking at options to replace my factory fogs with SAE Amber fogs. Are you able to help with the purchase or is that not what you do?
