I’ve decided to start saving for an OME kit for my Tacoma. I’m in college, so I should be able to make good money on the side and I’m already about half way there currently. Currently I’m trying to decide between the OME 9021 or the 9000s for my truck. I will go off road sometimes (mostly recreationally but I’d like to do more,) and I’m sure the soft ride 9021s would work perfectly well for this. However, I would like to fit an ARB bull bar at some point in the future which makes me lean towards the 9000s. Can anyone tell me how 9000s and 886s ride without any weight up front? The bull bar will probably happen months after the lift, so I’d like to do something that won’t be too jarring.

good question. Im going to do my suspension and tires after I install my skids. I want to see how the weight affects my truck stock.

The 886’s ride great with the ARB bar & winch. I’m sure that they’ll be pretty stiff without any extra weight. But if you’re talking months and not years... I’d go ahead and prep for the extra weight and deal with the ride vs having to swap springs and get another alignment once you put it on.
