I really like the looks of the 285s. I really want the 255s cause they're lighter than the 285s. I run 265/75r16 "C" rated as I only have a lowly 4 banger.

had them off so I could trim them, and the fender. I ran the truck like that for 3-4 days until I got time fo trim...any amount of flex and it rubbed. There’s a lot of prep for 35’s

I hear that. My 34s are a whole different animal from my 33s.

Your truck looks slick though, very clean! How do you like the Nokians? I don't hear about those too often.

:drool: If I ever repaint my truck it will be that green. My Trailblazer was just about that shade and it was dagum good looking.

So far I am quite happy with them. Ride quality on pavement is great. Way better than e load rated tires. Sidewalls are 6 ply(I think) aramid, so should be dependable and puncture resistant without being heavy and harsh like an e load rated tire. So far it has been limited to dirt/gravel roads and grass so far. Excellent grip on dry dirt/gravel, equally impressed with steering and braking performance on loose surfaces at speed. Great in the rain on pavement, though I suspect they are probably not a tire that should be thought of for use in the mud specifically. They are winter rated with mountain/snowflake so they should be quite good in snow/ice, too. This weekend I'll have a moderate load and will be doing some actual off-roading/trail riding. Looks like I'll be coming across some mud with the forecast for rain through most of this week, too. If they impress me or fall short of reasonable expectations, I'll update.
