Yeah been going for the past 3 weekends. Just can’t stay overnight. Cutoff time I think is one hour after sunset? I might be wrong though. Can someone confirm?

What’s the current status of kaena opening? I can’t find the log in page on the state site.

Email said wave action moved sand around and made some deep sand on the designated road. Anyone been out there recently and seen it?

Hard top camper...many more to add+
I miss fishing Kaena point....fish there in the late 60’s and seventy’s...not too long ago..?
Went around Kaena point once to yokohama bay...another time from Yokohama way ..
It will never be like B-4.... a ..aaa you remember B-4..? When we could...?
Yep .. being living on the BI...since 80’s...my fishing has change...lol
I went from bait casting -Oahu, to slide baiting...BI...today...I enjoy my hand pole fishing...
I still use my Penn 4/0 hlw with 4 to 1 gears..( had those reels since 70’s from Buster,,,Waipahu bicycle)
    All my Sabres are gone...
As you age...memories will go on forever...I remember B-4, we actually caught fish...(real ones)...um?
    Aloha

Howzit, sorry off topic but didn't know where to ask.

I was wondering if 4wd is required for Kaena point or have some people done it with reg 2wd. I will be with my friend so in case one of us gets stuck we can pull each other out.

What are you trying to drive in there? If you have decent ground clearance and it’s dry out there you should be ok on the main road
