I had forgotten until you mentioned it, I too found weak connections behind the panel that basically fell out of the connectors when I removed the plate to begin the work. Wasn’t too happy to see that.

It really depends on how you want to supply power. The wiring track makes it easy to supply power to any corner and run wire from there. I’ve got my power and fuse block on the passenger rear side and factory switch location.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to make the front runner side doors more waterproof. I camped through a rainstorm last night and in the morning found both side doors had let water in. Drivers side was a lot worse since the water actually pooled on the floor, here are some pictures.

Someone else had this issue with the FR doors. See if you have a similar situation:

I'm going to see how it holds up on future trips but changing the plug wouldn't be difficult. It's just 3 wires; power, ground & brake light.

I agree, simple. But it’s the principle. Should not have to even think about loose connections.

I've had a couple of "odd" happenings with my interior lights including them not turning on at all, or in the last case, they would only come on in amber. The first time, I disconnected the power and then reconnected it and that worked, the second time, when they would only turn on in amber, I went for a drive and charged the auxiliary battery (my truck sits in the driveway when not camping) and then the lights worked fine. I wonder if the switches for the lights have voltage sensing in them and won't turn the lights on below a certain voltage?

    ...too much shit to list.
It’s not the switches, it’s the LEDs. LED’s themselves won’t turn on under a certain threshold. It’s not like an incandescent that is just dimmer with low voltage. It’s on or off.

Yeah, I think Phil saw the post and we wrapped up the invoice and payment. Sounds like they are having some COVID related supply issues....which unfortunately isn't limited to Vagabond, usually I don't deal with customer service for truck parts but I've had to do so multiple times in the last couple months and every company seems to be having issues.

From my basic research, this wont clear a Prinsu on a 2nd gen correct?

Im trying to gather some info before I fully commit to selling my bed rack/tent, and consider selling my Prinsu or chopping it to fit. I have an AC, so I dont think the Sherpa one will work, since the holes that I drilled for the Prinsu might differ from the stock location of the DC holes..

And does anyone know what the weight is for a long bed for 2nd gen?

I don’t believe it clears on 2nd gens. Only 3rd gens.
Weight will depend on options. With no options I believe it would be around 350-375lbs

Sorry - late to the party...I haven't been able to confirm this in any way...

Does Vagabond have distributors for a Drifter in eastern Canada (Ontario/Quebec)?

Or is a Canuck obliged to drive south?
