Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!! Not much rain for us yesterday - a good 20 minute soaking in the early morning and then a quick shower mid-afternoon. We could use lots more.

    Be safe out there!!

    Morning PA!

We're under a flash flood advisory here in Fulton County and Washington County, MD where I work. Roads get pretty water logged, so looks like I'm taking the truck the rest of the week. Hopefully it rains during the day when I'm asleep...

Good morning to all! Thankful I have a short week this week. Scheduled Friday off to go to Carlisle for the truck show. Hoping to find some cool stuff that I don't really need but that entices me to spend money anyway. Doing my part to keep the American economy moving.

Have to put my tent up to dry after a camping trip. Just a little damp and after an hour in the sun it will be good to put away. There was a crazy Cardinal that was fighting itself in my mirrors. Even after I folded them in he still kept trying. Luckily he didn't scratch them but did poop on both sides of the truck. He was even fighting with his reflection in the paint. He finally moved on to another truck.

After being cooped up as much as I have with all the virus stuff I'm just happy to have a day off and get outside beyond my own backyard! I figure i might be able to pick up some LED bulbs for the interior. Might get lucky who knows? Maybe some dynamat material to do my doors when i install my new speakers. Not really looking for anything in particular anyway.

I live like 5 or 6 miles from there. They have not had anywhere near the turn out for the other shows that they are accustom to. About a 3rd or less. So don't expect to much.

Yeah. Definitely sucks. The governor tried to sue them so they couldn't open at the beginning. This right after he marched in the protests. The judge threw it out and said if you can be in a large group outside, they can do the same.

I'm only about 30 minutes or so from fairgrounds. As stated I just want to get out for a little and if I don't find anything it still beats being at work right?

I've been going to car shows at Carlisle for quite a few years and it's definitely smaller than it was back in the late '80s and '90s but I still enjoy going. That being said I don't know if I'd say it's worth a 2 hour drive unless you're really looking for something and have a reasonable expectation that you'll be able to find it there. The internet has made it much easier to find stuff and just order it online. I just bought my Tacoma so this is all new to me again and I'm willing to pay the admission fee and give it a try, plus as I mentioned I just plain need a day off and this makes a good excuse. YMMV
