    Hi everyone,
I just joined up today. I have purchased my 1st Toyota truck. It is a white 2013 Tacoma Base Access Cab 2.7ltr with automatic transmission. The truck is in very good condition with only 28,000 miles (Yea only 28K miles!). I am a master marine diesel & gas technician with 28 years experience. I own my business, Icon Marine Diesel Services, out of Jupiter, Florida for about 10 years now. I was the president & founder of U.S. Kustomz car & mini truck club back in the early 90's. My 1st truck was an 85' Nissan 720 with the 2.4ltr & a 5 speed manual tranny. I had lots of fun with that truck & my 75-100 member car & truck club.
I purchased the truck from my father who cannot drive anymore due to his Parkinson's disease. I currently has his wheelchair lift/carrier mounted to the trailer hitch. I now use the truck as one of my work trucks to service & repair outboard engines. The wheel chair lift, compliments of the VA, has come in very handy for my business. I've hauled a 5KW diesel generator on it (weighs about 500 LBS!) among many other parts & engines. I've since installed an add-a-leaf the the rear axle as it kinda sat about an inch or so in the rear with nothing on the lift. Now its level even with all my tools in the bed & rides the same as it did stock. I plan on adding any performance mods that are available which I'm finding out there's not much to do. It being a daily driver I dont think I'm going to go too crazy & add a supercharger though it sounds like fun. I am looking to buy front cross drilled rotors with ceramic pads to cut down on the dust on my new wheels. If you have any parts that will fit my 2nd gen please drop me a line. Thanks & I look forward to talking with my fellow Tacomians! -Brad R. Katryder1
