Tacoma plastic bed rails (help)

Hello guys! My Tacoma came with the OEM Toyota bed cover and I recently sold it and installed the bakflip mx4 on my truck, the problem is that now I have visible cutouts on my side bed rails from where the original brackets use to be. Any idea where I can buy some without the cut outs? Or do any of you have some laying around that want to sell them? Thank you!

 

I bet the person you sold the OEM cover to has the caps you need and you have the caps they need

 

The person that bought my cover just took the cover because someone broke into his truck and cracked the cover. He didn’t need anything else but the cover

 

Ah I see, well I bet you could find a person in the classified section that would want to trade you their caps for yours. (you need 50 posts to buy and sell)

Otherwise head over to the dealership and have them order the caps you need.

 

So the caps that I need will cover these holes?

 

They replace the whole panel on top of the bed rails. They look just like the panels you have, but dont have holes cut out on them.

 

Also while you have the bed rails off, you can use that opportunity to seal them.

 

Any idea what they’re gonna run me? $

 

I believe the part numbers are 66248-04040 For RH and 66249-04040 for LH and run around $138 on Toyota parts deal site. I’m sure someone out there would be willing to swap with you though

 

Depending on your bed size they are not cheap. This is for a 2020.

 

Ran me about $250 for both, new from the dealer for mine, they aren't cheap and I had a hard time finding ones sourced on CL, FB, here, etc. in decent shape.

 

Forgot to mention but I believe these numbers are for the long bed. Not sure on part number if you need panels for short bed

 

Dang it, I wonder if there’s a cheaper fix? Maybe something temporary. I don’t like Mickey mousing my stuff but idk about spending 200+ on that
