Helping a buddy with a 2001 4WD 4 cylinder auto, his ignition key is not working right, it needs a new lock cylinder. Any recommendations? Rock Auto?

    Thanks,
    Don

I know what I would do take it to my Lock Smith have the cylinder rebuilt maybe a new key as well.

Unless you plan on a set that has all the cylinders the ignition 2 doors and the fuel .

It sucks when you need 3 keys for one vehicle.

Would only need 2, the old one will fit the doors and gas cap. Might be a good idea to see if a local locksmith can rekey the new cylinder.

Re Keying a new cylinder is the same as rebuilding your old one.

The same new parts will be installed.

    Best of luck

Take all your cylinders off the truck, take it to a locksmith to have them all rekeyed.
