The article @wilcam47 nails it. The last part of the read describes their temperament, they are docile.
I operate power equipment near them constantly and have never been bothered by them.

Finally finished my backyard landscaping today with my shed install. It was completely barren a year ago when we moved in.
Did everything myself. I’m pretty proud of it.

Does anybody know if it is ok to put Zinsser Bin or Kilz on VAT tiles?

Background: I am removing carpet in the living room and installing laminate. Under the carpet is VAT tiles, and below the VAT is concrete slab. My cat,who passed away a couple years ago :(, pee'd a lot in the corner of the carpet about 3'x3' and I think the pee got to the VAT, making it stink. I am wondering if I can put some kind of sealer like Zinsser or Kilz directly on the VAT to help seal the odor. Before doing the Zinsser or Kilz, I do plan on cleaning the VAT and maybe some pet odor solution.

I dunno abut the VAT but get a cleaner that has enzymes. It will killthe urine smell. Was it a male? Might check the wall also, could have sprayed.

Thank you. Will get a cleaner with enzymes. Yes it was a male, and probably did spray the wall a bit, but the baseboard does look clean.

    Thanks again wilcam!

Yes I do have some TSP that I used in previous jobs to clean the walls prior to priming/painting.

If you suck up wasps, remember to dump the vacuum later. Didn't once, rotten wasps smell real bad!

Friend of mine did this last year when the nasty things got behind his siding. He didn't like the quote he got from the exterminators so he set up the shop vac with a timer, Lol. After about a week - 10 days or so, be dammed but he got 'em all.
