I lifted my truck and right after my impact sensor send a message to my dash of the airbag light. I tried the under the seat trick of unplugging the wires to reset it and I even tried to unplug wires from the impact sensor it self with no luck. When I went to Toyota to get the alignment I asked them to reset it ($120) and that did not reset it he told me that he is not getting any signal from the front ride side impact sensor and to replace it it’s ($250).

my question is if I bought the part my self and put it on then it would save me $150. Now does this part have to be calibrated Or once you plug it in then it’s a go? Anybody have experience with changing them and if it needed dealer recalibration?

Not too sure. Ended up replacing me. Not sure why they told me two hours of labor when it took me less then 15 minutes to replace the sensor, that includes me watching youtube on how to do it
