Still without power. Looks like it’ll be a few days before everyone is back online. I received an automated call from the power company last night... “We are aware of the situation and do not have an estimate on restoration at this time”

 

At least you have a putt putt until it gets restored. hope you have enough gas.

Good Morning niteshift tonite and tommorow. enjoy your day! running to kids house. DIL had the shoulder surgery so made them a pot of spagetti sauce from the garden veggies and some hot pepper relish for hotdogs.box of pasta and pack of dogs and buns.

 

Not only lumber but also retaining wall block. Just found that out. I had to return 2 pallets of block because of junk. They wanted to replace bad ones. I said no, just come and get this crap and give me my money back. Went to a cement contractor and got a high end block. Cost alot more and delivery charge was twice that of big box ( Menards). Quality is much better.
You get what you pay for.

Also , homemade Spaghetti sauce haven't had homemade spagetti sauce in a couple years !!!!!! . SIL is a Chef and she makes the best spagetti sauce I've ever tasted

 

she is doin good. actually it was at the elbow. they removed a piece of muscle that was pinching a nerve. she is an OR RN so off for a few weeks. she is in pain. thanks for asking.and the sauce just has a real fresh taste. scald the tomatoes and skin them then crush by hand. the Chef i worked under made his this way but with whole canned skinned tomatoes. ill freeze some for in the fall/winter

 

try not waste food. wife had a couple pieces of fish from the weekend. i had 6 scallops in the freezer. so whipped up an alfredo sauce and a bag of cheap frozen shrimp. bam! sailors platter for supper
