    Jack Carter from the show Eureka, the show is based in fictional town Eureka in Oregon.

    The Goonies town of Astoria is based in Oregon. I would love to do a drive by and see the house, but I've heard the owner who bought it tarped it up and the neighborhood had disallowed walkers to walk up the street.

    Both good as F.

    Eureka had 5 seasons but got cancelled cause getting expensive. Show was really good. Networks are so weird. Cancelled Sarah Connor Chronicles before it even got big. Even Sense8 on Netflix was a huge success.

    A lot of them used to base what they were keeping on the old-fashioned Nelson ratings which never took into account people recording shows, only people watching shows live. So I shows like Community got picked up and dropped so quickly.

    I'm hoping that has changed now with the advent of streaming and such. But you never know with big media companies. A lot of them still think it's the 1970s.
