Had a special moment yesterday!

 

I installed a new heat shield, got two bolts loose for the canister (the bed will have to come off to replace the canister).
Tried to remove the bracket for the rear ABS wires, where it attaches to the canister (I mangled the canister bracket, good thing I have a new canister). Still not able to unbolt the ABS wire bracket.

Got my connectors wired up for the power mirror (pass mirror connector on back order).

 

Installed a new Spiral Cable. Had the first one done as a recall. I guarantee the Dealer didn't torque the steering wheel nut to 37 ft lbs on the first one.

 

Installed an OVS 180* awning. Glad I didn't purchase anything else, freestanding awnings are pretty awesome!

I installed some bags and the wirelessone kit into my 08. Even though i have the leaf spring recall replacement I still found the ride sat low even with modest weight. The wirelessone hardware fit in the rear cubby and I can controll the ride from my phone or remote and there was no need to wire anything in the cab.

 

is SO worth it....!

 

On the right is BFG KO 37/12.50R17 and with a tape measure are exactly 35" tall.
On the left is Goodyear Wrangler MT/R 37/12.50R17 and they measure 36 3/4" with no air in them.
I'm going to ditch the front 3" lift spacers and get a pair of 4" lift spindles so I can cut just a little less.

I'm fairly sure the cab mount, which is already almost missing because I chopped so much of it off, is going to have to be completely relocated.

 

Yaaaa. Hilifts are a little cheaper lol

Had a big day yesterday. Replaced my torn CV boot, gonna hold off on the others for now, they all look good. Did it without taking the axle out of the diff, just pulled apart the inner CV and left the cup side in the diff. Then did some tuning on my rear shocks to lighten them up a bit. Still stiffer than I'd like so will need to pull them apart again and either go down another step on the compression/rebound or do a flutter stack. Also looking at getting some lighter weight oil for them since I only have one more step available to go lighter. The joys of living the race parts life.

 

Got a new mid-rise cap installed, put a layer of carpeting on top of the camper deck I built, new drawer hardware and wired in some led light strips. Pretty stoked how it’s turning out!

Thanks brother! They're tinted 2.5 gen led taillights. Got them off a buddy here in the bay.

 

Cleaned my K&N. All that shit to the left came out of it. This probably has something to do with my recent noticeable dip in power and fuel economy! It only has about 5-6k miles on it. That's what pulling your inner fenders and wheeling the shit out of it does for you. Time for a reroute of the intake or some sort of fix.
