If I were over there, I have a truck, chainsaw, felling wedges, plenty of braided steel cable, a giant snatch block, and a 7000 lb truck to pull a tree a little.

Well since @White lightning boosted finally moved to my side of the water...Wife and I decided to leave. (not really anything to do with him).

Bought a house in the middle of nowhere Wyoming. Wife got a great job there. Bought a house in June. Selling our house here (should close next Tuesday). Last Friday was my last day at work. Kind of nice cause the wife will make enough to where I can just work whatever job I want (ski resort, seasonal stuff, ect)

Its been an odd adventure so far! And we love the area. Plus our new backyard is 100k+ acres of BLM land (like literally our back yard). All started with a recruitment company who advertised the wrong area. Always felt the odd ball, opps type stuff like that leads to the best things

Why can’t you go to the beach? Lots of sand from Westport south or from ocean shores north :notsure:

Far for a day trip, if we go out there we'd like to camp and I think most of the spots are all booked at Grayland. I'd have to doublecheck.

Yes if you need a developed spot that accepts reservations that’ll be tough this year particularly

That's why I was looking for secluded spots :) I don't think you can camp directly on the beach at Grayland?

Never tried there but there’s lots and lots of coats line you can drive on the beach and get away from anyone trying to tell you not to be there lol

And you're in Lynnhood. I grew up Bothell through Everett, and lived in the north end of Lynnwood at a couple places a decade or so ago (off 164th). When you have a spare minute, go to Big E's Brewery about 208th and 52nd in that gray zone that is Lynnwood/Monkey Terrace. The blackberry ale is good drinking.

Probably in your truck. I'm betting the last time you saw it was out in Spokane.

If you need a place to stop for a night on the way through, or move some things to for short term, I live about 35 minutes north if I90, a little north of Spokane.

So I'm about to take a step back, which should help me be able to go forward more. I started in the electrical trade about 13 or 14 years ago. I got in as a low volt specialist. I have been turned out as journeyman with low volt electrical license for something like 10 years now. I am about to go back to apprenticeship to become a commercial electrician. I had to get 4800 hours of on the job training to finish the low volt program, plus I've gotten however many hours in over the years as journey level, but per the standards of this local apprenticeship, only 1500 hours will count toward the 8000 I will need to finish. I've been making about $27/hour on the check, and based on hours, I'll be jumping back to $18. On top of that, I'm getting old. I'll be 40 in a few years.

Anyway, time to get back to scooping goat shite, and seeing if I can avoid getting attacked by hornets again today.
