Tacomas in short supply

Toyota of Orlando, think its the biggest in C. Florida, has 1 2020 on the lot at the moment.

 

Isn't the Texas plant done making Taco"s? If only one plant is making them that would slow things up.

haven’t these people figured out the 3G is a massive fail for Toyota? Haven’t they figured out Toyota ruined the Tacoma?

Haven’t they figured out the Ranger is gonna destroy Tacoma sales and Toyota are idiots for no diesel and no front locker like GM?

These are crazy times! Dang fools linin’ up to buy these horrible trucks.

 

Both the Kia and Hyundai must be in demand as dealers weren't budging from msrp back in March and April when none were buying cars. We briefly considered a limited trim but couldn't stomach spending $47+k on either of the Korean twins regardless of how nice they were. Not when the top trims from Honda and Toyota were thousands cheaper and willing to deal.

 

Back in the day Honda deserved the premium $$$ it's cars got. No longer. Telluride all-day/everyday over a Pilot.

 

Does anyone know when the Texas plant is officially done building Tacoma's?

 

A car hauler passed me on the 15 north today in San Diego with a trailer full of brand new tacos (coming from the Mexico plant)

Agreed but we were able to get a $7k discount on the Pilot Elite vs. no discount on the top trim Palisade/Telluride. The pilot was actually significantly cheaper.

My whole point is that when it comes to 3 row family crossovers, the Koreans are actually considered the cream of the crop nowadays.
