    First post! I have a 09 4wd 2.7 my calipers are starting to stick any tricks to free them up? Or should I buy new ones? I live in Ohio so they get salt. pad wear is grooved out on the outside and inside of pad

    I would just get new ones. Not worth the hassle IMO to rebuild.

    What is sticking? The pistons? If so, and they made it 11 years, they deserve to retire.

    Most people never service their brakes until brake work is needed from poor performance. Salt country folks should service them at least annually when doing frame rust preventative. Maybe more often if they are off road in water/muck a good bit.

    Pretty much stock right now
    I just did my front brakes, rotors and calipers. One caliper had only one cylinder working. The service records indicated that the prior owner didn't spring for the calipers (was recommended by Toyota) when the frame was replaced 5 years ago, so they were original. They did do the pads and rotors. If your rust condition is anything like mine, you may need to replace the hard brake line from the caliper to the flex line. I did the flex lines also. I went with a PowerStop kit from Rock Auto. Do both sides!
