I average 21-22 on a 2017 w/ 5.29 Nitro Lockers, 33's, 2.5-inch lift and OVtune 2.0. I am in Washington State so lots of mountains and I do have winch, bumper, and gear in bed at all times.

Been on two long trips already, truck has 2K miles on it...

Averaging about 23.5 on the freeway, 21 around town.

Pretty standard, aside from the city driving. City driving is above average, likely due to the exhaust and intake.

Toyota officially has the 2020 Trd OR rated at 18 city and 22 freeway

EDIT*** fair to point out, I'm also at 2500 feet of elevation

I just hit 2k miles on my 2020 and seeing around 16 average. This is mainly city driving and one camping trip up north.

My 17 TRD Sport was getting 19-20 until I towed a trailer up north 2 months ago. Must have blown everything out doing 80-85 on the freeway because now I'm getting 22.5-23 consistently in and around the metro Detroit area.

The trip MPG gauge is probably wrong and will calibrate itself over time. Compare the odometer and actual gallons when you fill up.

2020 TRD off road-all stock: there is a sweet spot of 80km/h (50 mph) on an almost flat highway where i mange to get 8l/100km (29 mpg)-I'll take photos next time. It was just me and an empty box, with a cover and driving like i have eggs in the back. Mixed city driving puts me usually at 11l/100km (20.5 mpg), but that's Edmonton, AB - don't really have bumper to bumper, lol

Self-bodged spare tire carrier. Running boards. Poor man’s winch.
I just took a little 300km road trip (188mi) and got 11L/100km or 21.6 mpg US. 25.8mpg Imperial. 2020 TRD Offroad Access Cab. It’s better than my 2016 of the same model.

i have a 2020 2wd auto with 1500 miles. For the first 1000 miles I was getting like 13-15 mpg. awful! but it got much better. I get up to 28 mpg now on the highway and 22-24 around town. your engine is still breaking in and is not at peak efficiency.

Yup, these trucks love back roads. Here in WNC/upstate SC it's deceptively hilly. 45-65 with the ac on, hills, random stop signs and such. Manual transmission, all stock.

Driving it not aggressively but not caring about mpg, I average about 19mpg with a lot of time running 80+ on the highway, AC on. I love this truck, it's so good at so many things.

My previous silverado got 15.7 like that and my built tj was kept around 75 or below, right at 16. A ton of cars that got around 32mpg running premium, at the time i had to get 24mpg on 87 to break even on fuel cost. I regret nothing
