Jeez..it was trading at $29 on friday...heluva pre-earning run up...that's a lot of pressure.

 

Yes it is. Nobody traveling but everyone at home. Uber Eats could see a huge jump in profit. Is it enough to offset the loss from ride share? I don't know but I still got some call options this morning. I guess I'm not done playing earnings after all. lol

Cool. My wife is really into geology. I've got every type of rock in the Sierra, the Whites, Inyo's and Panamint's in my yard. She's found some cool shit.

I was helping my grandfather dig a koi pond when I was 9or 10. Found a cool looking rock and showed it to gramps. He told me that it was a "sex" stone. Of course I told him I never heard of it.

Sounds like your Granpa and mine would have gotten along just fine.

One day my Grandpa asked me to dig a hole in the backyard. The hole was about 2x2x2. It took me an hour or so. When I finished I asked him what he wanted to put in it. He said "Nothing". He handed me $10 bucks and told me to fill it in. With that he said: "Never forget the value of hard work". I'll never forget that.

Typically don't sauce ribs or brisket - each stands alone if ya do it right IMHO. Sometimes I'll glaze ribs, but usually just a dry rub. I do like to sauce pulled pork but don't mix it in - I put sauce out for folks to use as they prefer.

 

When you meet one, you're presumably there to buy something for your wife/girlfriend.

That's quite the paradox, maybe that's why I never dated a girl from a jewelry store when I was single.

 

Dry rub last time I did ribs I did a butter and garlic "dry" rub (with butter....)
They make that butter seasoning for popcorn, I might try that with garlic powder next time. But typically yeah I just do a dry rub for ribs/pork. IF I do BBQ sauce it's usually on either grilled chicken instead of smoked, or ribs. Butt is dry until it's shredded. I don't do much red meat though. But that's just me, I'm weird like that.
