I'm in the camp of "if you want to fly your country's flag, knock yourself out. But you live in the United States. This is our flag, our country and we are proud of both.".

If you want to fly your flag, it flies below the flag of the United States and you should respect that.

This whole thing just pisses me off to no end and I'm tired of the theme of accommodation and more in favor of assimilation. You came to live here because you thought it was a better place to live. Become part of our culture. Share yours if you like but don't forget you live in the United States and if that's not OK, go back to where you came from.

 

Gtfo of this country if you don't apperciate what the U.S flag stands for.

 

Would have been great if the bikers stood around the school with the flags for "safetys sake", which is why the kid was told by the principle he couldn't fly it.

That is a great story. he should have the right to show the flag. hell its a school, don't they have a us flag in front of all public schools anyways?
I do have to say the Jet fly over may have been a bit overkill seeing as how that is by no means cheap to do. haha.
