I have to agree. The Dura-Tracs in a 265 C-Load are a great tire in my opinion. I would like a more aggressive tire, SST Pro or BFG KM3 but the weight and ride quality of the E-Load (on my truck) are not worth it. They ride harsh, MPG's drop and I always need to be on the throttle with E's. The C-Load works for MPG's, Power, & everything I do as far as hauling a trailer, boat, etc. I have heard a lot of people complain about weak sidewalls, tearing them up because they are a weenie C-load. Maybe I'm just more careful and think ahead instead of ripping up my tires. Must be the Old Man in me.

I would agree that the sidewall is the only aspect of the tire that leaves a little to be desired. Twice as many lugs on the sides would be nice however i havent had a sidewall puncture yet.

Anyone able to run the Yokohama Geolandar M/T G003 in a 285/75/16 without the CMC on a stock Pro using the stock wheel? It looks like that tire runs almost a 1/2" bigger than the KO2. From the early pics in this thread it might be safer to stay with 32.8" or smaller to avoid the CMC?

I can tell you that looking at the Yokohama website and the BF Goodrich website, that overall 0.4" diameter difference will be significant. Look at the pics I threw up of full lock clearance with the K02's... I would caution you about going any larger than that tire without modification. Plus the Yokos are 1.5# heavier per tire and nobody wants that ;)

I kind of figured that from looking at your pictures earlier which are very helpful. I guess I was hoping that someone would prove me wrong just because I like that tire. I'll keep it at the KO2 dimensions or smaller to be safe. Thanks!

Great thread and good to know about the 285/75r16 fitment on the Pros. I plan on doing a 1” shim (above the top hat) in the front and an add-a-leaf in the back just to be sure while running this tire size.

I am leaning towards the Duratracs in 265/75/16 but would love the 285's. Just finding it hard to get around the tire manufactures' printing that 285's should have a 7.5 wide rim at the least...How are you guys with the 285's getting around the 2020 Pro wheels at 7.0 ? Or am I wrong on the sizing??

Which add a leaf were you looking into? I was looking into an Icon AAL, then i moved towards an ICON RXT Leaf Pack, Then I moved towards a Deavers J66. Now i'm back to an AAL. I pulled the trigger on a westcott designs front lift for my 2020, but not sure what to pair it with for the rears...
