I have one too but you probably don't want it.

I didn't know that they were all neon colors with built in LFJ's these days. I bought mine in 2007.

I had a Henry Big Boy Classic. I liked having a pistol caliber lever action. But it had a malfunction where the action got stuck in the open position. Henry fixed it and gave me a free rifle case so I was happy lol

I'll probably go with a Winchester next time just out of personal preference. I've not been too impressed with Marlin. They seem like unfinished products IMO.

Interesting regarding the Marlin, was it fit and finish issues or true functional issues? Henrys get some pretty bad reviews from what I've seen

From the few Marlins I've seen and shot I just wasn't a fan of the fit and finish.

the fit and finish sucks on some of them, the gun store had 5-6 in stock when i bought mine and i picked the best of the bunch. It was still slightly off where the stock mates to the receiver. Never had any functionality issues with it

I went with a Marlin but in 357mag. Fit and finish seems fine and feeds reliably. Not sure if I just got lucky or if I just don't know enough about lever actions to spot the issues (which is more than likely)

Had the 45-70, felt like it was going to take off my shoulder every time I shot it. That gun was hard to source because of that stupid dinosaur movie

I found it to be pretty mild when shooting some 325 gr. Hornady. Reminded me of a muzzle loader push

@spikele, not to piss in your cereal, but if you use code: "WARPOET" you get 25% of all vertx products, which puts the Last Call Pack at 120.

very cool. did that start as the stainless "marine" version? also how did you land on .357? a lot of folks seem to like that round for lever action carbines.

Yeah it's the CST model which all come in the stainless finish. I went with it since I can run my 9mm suppressors via 3-lug and they are cheaper to load. Bought it for a fun range gun when I take new shooters out.
