Love the look and the 1x12.
I have an 2002 stumpjumper M4. My bike shop was tuning it up and said its going to cost $300 to repair the drive train or do a 1x10 set up. The bike is like new, rid the old XTR and to be honest no idea what he installed but it's fun to ride

I have a 2020 9.8, love it. I used an invisiFRAME kit to protect the finish, takes a while to install but you can't tell it is even there.

Man, those older rides just look so "spindly". It's strange seeing how much has changed over the years until you get a real good look back.

    Nice survivor!

Well this one is a little newer then the others I've recently posted, I bought this bike new in 1991, just thought it was the coolest bike, hasn't seen a lot of ride time but I've hung on to it!

I am bringing mine to a shop that specializes in high end cars. He’s wrapped a few bikes. I think the price he quoted me was a price infers he wants to exploit the bike for advertising purposes more so than make a buck off me. Well I am sure he is making something.

Salsa Timberjack that I built up this Spring. Debadged Marzocchi Bomber Z2 130 up front, SLX group with XT rear mech, Thudbuster ST, and Maxxis Assegais 29 2.5 on XT wheels.

Not a lightweight, but rides like an absolute dream. I have a Float 34 also and the Marzocchi performs just as well - it's just 1/2 pound heavier. Short (and adjustable) chainstays make hopping over stuff a cinch. Assegais on even 35 PSI climb like a mountain goat. Just a total hoot.

That bike rips everywhere, climbs included! I built a similar one a couple years ago. 130mm fork is what that frame was made for, IMO. I fit two models of Vittoria 29x 2.6 without issue, FYI.

Happy New Bike Day to me! :headbang:

2021 Transition Spur, Size Medium, X01 Build - I busted her cherry in the Huachuca Mountains yesterday. She climbs and hops around like a damn billy goat. Fast as hell. Definitely a keeper!

    A few glamour shots...

Got the itch, so I pulled the trigger on a used one. Stoked to ride again!

SB95 that I've been riding for almost 8 years now. Traded a motorcycle for it. Got hooked up with a guy who works over at Yeti in Golden & did a straight across trade for my '02 BMW F650 GSA Dakar. Zero regrets.

This is one of the hardest rides I've ever done physically. There was a race going on so had to ride up the back side of Dercum Mountain (Keystone), up Mozart (a long blue run), then back down to the truck. Took about 4 hours, ate some hail, but such a blast.
